Mrs Gounder brought 2 baby goats (kids) named Winnie and Tilly to school on Friday. They had soft fur and bleated when they played together. The goats drank milk and were very friendly. Winnie and Tilly are only 3 weeks old and we saw their umbilical cords.
We are a class at New Windsor School from Auckland, New Zealand. We learn, create and share around our school values be respectful, be responsible and be the best we can be.

Trip to the Vegetable Garden
We have been learning all about plants in room 20. We are learning about all different types of plants and growing our own too! We wanted to look at lots of different types of plants so we decided to visit the vegetable garden. If you see us around school ask us about seeds, germination, the parts of plants and the jobs they do to find out more!
Take a look at what we saw and took photos of to document our observations

Water Safety
Room 20 has been learning how to be safe in and around the water.
We can spot the hazards near rivers, lakes and wharfs.
The Water Cycle
Room 20 has been learning about the water cycle.
We conducted an experiment on evaporation and condensation.
We put water in a zip lock bag and stuck it to our classroom window. The sun heated the water in the bag causing evaporation. That water vapor then cooled down which caused condensation on the side of the bag.
